Viewing Field Service Jobs

If you only want to view field service jobs, you can set the Job Scheduler to Field Service mode. Micronet will then continue to open the Scheduler in Field Service mode until you turn this option off.

To view field service jobs only:

1. Open the Job Scheduler.

Refer to "Accessing the Job Scheduler".

Micronet displays the Schedule Job Cards screen with the display preferences you last saved, and showing any jobs for the current date.

2. Select DISPLAY MODE | FIELD SERVICE.

Technical Tip This menu option toggles Field Service mode on and off. A tick appears next to the menu option if Field Service mode is toggled on. In that case, choosing this menu option removes the tick and turns Field Service mode off.

Schedule Job Cards - Field Service Mode

This screen shows all job assignments for field service jobs. A job can have more than one job assignment.

Colours are used to easily identify the status of each job assignment:

• Black – the job assignment has not had anything done to it; status = No Action
• Orange – the job will be downloaded to the PDA the next time the PDA user synchronises with Micronet; status = Send to PDA
• Blue – the PDA user has downloaded the job to the PDA, or the job has been changed in MJC since being downloaded to the PDA; status = On PDA or On PDA Edited
• Red – the job is currently in progress with the PDA user or has been completed on the PDA but not yet synchronised to MJC; status = In Progress on PDA or Completed on PDA.
• Green – the job has been completed on the PDA and synchronised to MJC; status = Completed.

3. You can filter the field service jobs in the same way as other jobs.

4. You can view field service jobs matching your filter(s) for previous or future days by selecting the following buttons:

• <Day - move back one day at a time
• Day> - move forward one day at a time

5. Optionally, you can view or edit the job assignment details.
